The First of October marks the debut appearance of this month’s guest artist, Ladan Alavi.  (Artist reception is Saturday October 8).
A Montessori principal and teacher, Ladan devotes her time away from the classroom to art. She likes to paint in the impressionistic style and uses nature as her inspiration.
Ladan has traveled the world gathering material for her work along the way. She says she presents her paintings with both old and new impressionism. Most importantly, Ladan stresses, she wishes to express the unlimited unconditional love that we can feel and be thankful for.
