Artist Reception: Saturday May 4 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Judith Williams has painted a series of dolls from her imagination. They each have assigned personalities that create complex non-verbal stories. The viewers will certain flesh out this stories in their mind’s eye.
The doll paintings are on display along with another imaginary realm using shoes for inspiration. The shape of the shoe and its multiple functions, literal and metaphorical, provide a new way to view this classical fashion icon.
“Seeing below the surface†is what appeals to Judith Williams. Her resulting art pieces are creatively mounted for hanging and display.
The show is on Exhibit every Saturday and Sunday in May from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM at the A Woman’s Eye Gallery, 678 Portola Drive, San Francisco.
Stop by to meet Judith and join in the party celebrating creativity and the soul of imagination!
