The exhibit includes paintings, drawings and ceramics.\u00c2\u00a0 Deborah will share her process and creative soul with us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DebTashSept.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-217\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DebTashSept-213x300.jpg\" alt=\"DebTashSept\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DebTashSept-213x300.jpg 213w, http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DebTashSept.jpg 253w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 213px) 100vw, 213px\" \/><\/a>Deborah Tash\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dedication to the Women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Movement and the rebirth of the Divine Feminine since the 1970s took on new meaning for her as an artist when she saw Judy Chicago\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s SF showing of the Dinner Party in the early 1980s.<\/p>\n<p>Since that time her work has been informed by Shamanism as well as the practice of Tantra in celebration of sacred sexuality.\u00c2\u00a0 Her most recent work for Soft Power\/Shamanic Invocation of the Sacred Feminine project is infused with her love of images found \u00c2\u00a0in nature such as caves, trees, cavern entrances and ancient monolithic Sheela Na Gig structures; all evocative of the opening for spiritual sexuality which every woman possesses as an integral part of her anatomy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tash-Postcard.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-216\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tash-Postcard-294x300.jpg\" alt=\"Tash Postcard\" width=\"294\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tash-Postcard-294x300.jpg 294w, http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tash-Postcard-1006x1024.jpg 1006w, http:\/\/blog.awegallery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tash-Postcard.jpg 1317w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 294px) 100vw, 294px\" \/><\/a>Using mixed media and paint to create art meant to reclaim all the names for this essential feminine gift as sacred rather than derogatory is the foundation of this project and show.<\/p>\n<p>AWE Gallery is open every Saturday and Sunday from noon \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 5:00 PM. The red and yellow gallery building is located at 678 next to the purple church.
